Colonel Gharib Abdul Hafez, the spokesman of the Egyptian armed forces, announced that this helicopter crashed in Al-Shloufa area during a training mission due to a technical defect, and as a result, two officers were killed.

He stated that necessary measures have been taken to inform about the angles of the incident.

This statement does not mention the rank of officers or the type of helicopter.
