Türkiye: Israel must compensate for the damages caused to Lebanon

reported Mehr news agency quoted by the Associated Press, the Turkish Foreign Ministry released a statement welcoming the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the Zionist regime and expressed hope that this agreement will lead to a permanent ceasefire.

In a part of the Turkish Foreign Ministry’s statement, it asked the international community to put pressure on the Zionist regime and force it to “strictly implement this agreement and compensate for the damages.” Arde is committed to Lebanon.”

In this statement, Turkey also called for a “permanent and comprehensive ceasefire” in Gaza and asked the Zionist regime to immediately “end its aggressive policies.”

Following the announcement of a ceasefire between Lebanon and the Zionist regime, a few hours ago, the United States and France published a joint statement about it.

The ceasefire declared in Lebanon started this morning at 4 o’clock (local time). According to US President Joe Biden, this ceasefire will mean a “permanent cessation of hostilities”.

In the joint statement of the United States and France, the expectations of this agreement were described and both sides guaranteed the ceasefire.

“Today, after several weeks of tireless diplomacy, Israel and Lebanon accepted the cessation of hostilities between Israel and Lebanon. Today’s declaration of fighting in Lebanon stops and secures Israel from the threat of Hezbollah and other organizations present in Lebanon.

This announcement creates the conditions to restore lasting calm and allow residents of both sides to safely return to their homes on both sides of the Blue Line.

The United States and France will work with Israel and Lebanon to ensure that these arrangements are fully implemented. We are determined to prevent this conflict from turning into a cycle of conflicts and violence.

The United States and France are also committed to leading and supporting international efforts to build the capacity of the Lebanese Armed Forces as well as economic development throughout Lebanon to promote stability and prosperity in the region.

Al Jazeera news site, citing the Zionist website “Hadshut Israel”, has listed the clauses of the agreement between Lebanon and the Zionist regime, which was officially announced last night and has been implemented since the early hours of this morning. ()
