Portugal demanded the implementation of Security Council Resolution 2254 on Syria

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al Jazeera, the Portuguese Foreign Ministry issued a statement this Saturday and announced: the end of Bashar al-Assad’s government should be a peaceful transition and comprehensively for all groups of Syrian people based on Security Council Resolution 2254.
The United Nations Security Council, on December 18, 2015, under the chairmanship John Kerry, the US Secretary of State during the presidency of Barack Obama and with the approval of his 15 members, approved the road map for peace in Syria under the title of Resolution 2245 unanimously votes approved.
In this resolution, the negotiations between Damascus and its opponents were emphasized.
