Saudi Arabia’s reaction to the political and military developments in Syria

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia issued a statement regarding “taking positive steps to protect the lives of the Syrian people and prevent bloodshed in this country in the shadow of protecting Government institutions” expressed his satisfaction.

It is stated in this statement: We want to strengthen efforts to protect the unity of Syria and solidarity among the people of this country to prevent being drawn towards chaos and division.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry added: Riyadh supports all measures to support the security of its friend and brother Syria and its stability, independence and territorial integrity.

Arabia also asked the international community to stand by the Syrian nation and cooperate with them and not interfere in the internal affairs of this country.

The ministry added that the Syrian people have witnessed crises for many years, as a result of which hundreds of thousands of innocent people lost their lives and millions of people They have been displaced.
