Erdogan: Turkish Foreign Minister will go to Damascus soon
The Turkish president said that the country's foreign minister will soon go to Syria.
reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by “APA”, Rajab Tayeb Erdogan , the president of Turkey said in a group of reporters on his return from Egypt that Hakan Fidan, Ankara’s foreign minister will visit Damascus soon.
Erdogan said: We will not leave them (the new Syrian governing body) alone. Our foreign minister will go there soon. Together they will create a new structure.
Previously, the Turkish media claimed that Erdogan will leave for Syria within the next 15 days and while attending the Umayyad Mosque, he will probably meet with Abu Mohammad Al-Jolani, the leader of the terrorist group “Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham” who after the fall Bashar al-Assad’s government has taken control of Syria is, will meet.
