The government of Qatar has threatened to stop exporting gas to European countries if it is fined according to the new emission laws in Europe.

According to the soon-to-be-implemented law by the European Union, companies that meet emission requirements, human rights or do not comply with the employment determined by this union, they will be fined.

According to the drafted law, European countries can even fine companies that violate new emission laws up to 5% of their annual revenue. be fined.

Al-Kaabi said: If it is to export to Europe, Qatar will lose 5% of its annual income. give, well we are not going to Europe and this threat is not a bluff at all.

He emphasized: 5% of the annual income of Qatar Energy Company is actually 5% of the income of the entire country of Qatar. This is people’s money and we cannot allow such a loss. Of course, no one will accept the loss of such money.
