North Korea test-fired a new hypersonic missile
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency citing Reuters news agency, the North Korean state news agency (KCNA) reported that the country’s leader, Kim Jong He, on the test on Monday It has successfully monitored a medium-range hypersonic ballistic missile.
According to this report, this missile traveled a distance of about 1,500 kilometers (932 miles) at a speed equal to 12 times the speed of sound and reached a maximum height of 100 kilometers.
The report adds that the missile hit a target on the east coast of North Korea after following a precise path.
The North Korean news agency announced that new carbon fiber composite materials were used in the engine of this missile, which can effectively pass through dense defense barriers and deliver a serious blow to bring in the military power of the enemy.
This test was carried out in order to strengthen North Korea’s defense power and develop advanced military technologies of this country.
