The impeached president of South Korea once again refused to appear in the interrogation session

South Korea's impeached president has once again refused to attend a hearing in the investigation into the failed declaration of martial law in early December 2024.

reported by Mehr News Agency Citing Anatoly, the impeached president of South Korea, Yoon Seok-yul, once again defied the order of the Bureau of Investigation on the corruption of high-ranking South Korean officials, and refused to attend the interrogation session.

A few hours ago, the investigators in charge of this case asked Yun to appear for questioning. Previously, a court in Seoul had extended the arrest order of the deposed South Korean president.

Investigation Office requested Yun to introduce himself to this body at 14:00 local time. Yoon Gap-geon, one of Yoon’s lawyers, told Yonhap that the South Korean president, who has been charged with sedition, will not comply with the office’s request to appear for questioning.
