40 million dollars aid from the Asian Development Bank to Tajikistan
The Asian Development Bank provides 40 million dollars to Tajikistan to improve the education of natural sciences and modern technologies. |
According to the Fars news agency reporter in Dushanbe, Tajikistan and the Asian Development Bank signed an agreement based on which 40 million dollars in grants are intended to improve the education system from the Asian Development Bank.
This document, which is fully allocated by the Asian Development Bank, envisages the implementation of the project “Improving secondary education in the field of natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics”.

The goal of this project is to create a capital base to support Tajikistan’s transition to high labor productivity, skills enhancement based on state secondary education standards, education modernization, educational environment improvement, school management, etc.
According to the implementation plan of the mentioned project, it will start in 2024 and be completed in 2030.
This agreement was signed by Faizuddin Ghaharzadeh, Minister of Finance of Tajikistan and Shani Campbell, the permanent representative of the Asian Development Bank in this country, was signed.
It is worth noting that the Asian Development Bank in October invested 15 government projects, including in the fields of transportation, health care , took over education, water supply and environment with a total value of 922.8 million dollars in Tajikistan.
