“Russia and China have alignment approaches to key international and regional issues,” the Russian Security Council secretary said in a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Dice news agency wrote earlier: During the one-day trip, he is set to meet with China’s President Shi Jinping and Wang Yi, the Secretary of State.
Shivigo’s trip was made a few days after the Chinese president’s conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Former Russian Defense Secretary Sergei Shivigo, who is now secretary of the Security Council, met with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
