Germany: Europeans’ stance on Ukraine should be united

The German Foreign Minister has claimed: “We will continue to support Ukraine and seek a peaceful solution to this crisis without damaging the rights and supporting its people!”
“We have provided military and political support from Ukraine and should not abandon this country,” said Analna Baurbuk. The European stance on Ukraine must be united. Europe’s respect for international law and democracy should be taken into consideration in order to achieve a solution in Ukraine.
“We need huge investment in defense of Europe,” said the German official.
The meeting between US and Ukrainian presidents, which was supposed to strengthen economic and security cooperation between the two countries, led to a serious dispute and ultimately humiliating the Ukrainian president against global media cameras. The event hit Ukraine’s diplomatic position and raised doubts about the future US support for Kiev.
