Anti -state protests in Serbia; 3 people were injured+ Movie
reports Mehr News Agency Serbia, who was attended by about 5,000 to 5,000 people in the streets of Belgrade, was injured at least 4 people.
Serbian officials have called the demonstration one of the biggest protests in the history of the country. President Alexander Wochich praised the security forces and police for managing the protests, accusing the provocative factors within the demonstrators, who were mostly peaceful of attempts to launch a color revolution, claiming that foreign influence was intended to destabilize.
Wochich said, violence began when dozens were trying to attack police and other people outside the presidential building in Pionerski Park.
“I realized that the youth were reluctant to participate in violence after the first Jawad,” he added. They left the gatherings when they found out that they had no control over the situation. I am particularly proud of our police and security services. They guaranteed the security of all participants. Judicial regulators, despite the unrest, showed restraint and did not use force.
The protests have been followed by months of student demonstrations against what has been called government corruption and negligence in the Serbian government, leading to the collapse of the Novi Sad train station in November and killing four people.
