Pakistan’s Defense Minister Warns of Imminent Indian Military Action
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency adn Al Jazeera, Khwaja Asif, Pakistan’s Defense Minister, has warned of an imminent military move by India.
He stated: “An Indian military attack is imminent.”
The minister also reported a large-scale deployment of Pakistani forces along the border with India and emphasized that both countries must refrain from using nuclear options in case of conventional armed conflict.
Hours earlier, Hanif Abbasi, Pakistan’s Railways Minister, had addressed India directly, declaring: “our nuclear missiles—Shaheen, Ghauri, and Ghaznavi—are not for street decorations but are aimed at India. If you cut off our water supply, we will cut off your breath. Pakistan is ready for war with India. Imagine you fire one missile; we will respond with 200. Where will you run? We are not cowards—do not threaten us.”
India has accused its neighbor pakistan of supporting “cross-border terrorism.” Though, Islamabad denies any involvement in the incident and insists that attempts to link Pakistan to it are “futile,” vowing an appropriate response to any Indian action.
