UK Police Arrest Four Iranian Citizens Under Pretext of Counterterrorism
According to a report by the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, the UK’s counterterrorism police arrested five individuals, including four Iranian citizens, on Saturday under the pretext of allegedly attempting to carry out a terrorist operation.
The arrests were conducted as part of an operation by the UK’s Counter Terrorism Policing unit in West London, Manchester, Rochdale, and Stockport.
Security sources stated that those detained included a 29-year-old man in Swindon, a 46-year-old man in West London, a 29-year-old man in Stockport, a 40-year-old man in Rochdale, and another individual in Manchester.
