Trump: Agreement with Iran not difficult
Donald Trump, the U.S.President, in a recent interview, reiterated his threatening stance against Iran’s nuclear program, stating that reaching an agreement with Tehran would be “easy.”
According to the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Hugh Hewitt’s media outlet, Donald Trump discussed Iran-U.S. negotiations in a detailed interview, claiming: “Reaching a deal with Iran is not difficult.”
He added that he “prefers a strong and verifiable agreement with Iran,” asserting: “We have top experts capable of verifying such a deal.”
Responding to questions about Iran’s uranium enrichment program, the U.S. president repeated his threats: “we seek a strong and verifiable agreement—but if it fails, we only have two options left.”
Trump then repeated allegations against Iran’s nuclear program: “Their facilities will either be dismantled peacefully or through force.”
Before this interview was published, Trump told White House reporters on Wednesday regarding Iran’s uranium enrichment: “No decision has been made yet; it will be addressed in the future.”
Key Negotiations with China Ahead
On Washington-Beijing relations during his potential second term, Trump said: “It depends on China’s behavior.All countries have exploited America—even NATO and European nations before my presidency. We have major talks scheduled for Saturday.”
He added: “China wants a deal and doesn’t care who initiates talks.”
