Macron welcomes al-Jolani in Paris

Macron called for a continuation of the “gradual reduction of economic sanctions” against the Syrian government, provided that damascus authorities can restore stability to the country.
He also stated: He is consulting with the United States to alleviate economic pressures on Syria.
The French president claimed: During his meeting with al-Jolani, he described recent attacks in Syria as “unacceptable” and demanded that al-Jolani take “all necessary measures to ensure the security of all Syrian citizens without exception.”
asserting that “these actions have deeply affected Syria’s allies,” Macron claimed: He warned al-Jolani that perpetrators of recent violence must be prosecuted and tried.
