Continued conflict between India and Pakistan Indian maritime retaliatory operations
Tensions between India and Pakistan continue as Indian media reports retaliatory naval operations against Pakistan.
According to the English section of “webangah News Agency,” citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, clashes and tensions between India and Pakistan persist at full intensity. In this context, Indian media reported on retaliatory operations by the country’s naval forces following attacks by Pakistan.
The Indian Army also highlighted drone attacks by Pakistani forces on its military positions in border areas.
Indian sources reported a high-level meeting at the country’s Ministry of Defense to assess developments in the conflict with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, attaullah Tarar, Pakistan’s Information Minister, stated: “We reject India’s baseless claims about cross-border attacks.We have not conducted any operations inside Indian Kashmir or beyond international borders. Our Air Force is alert and ready.”
Simultaneously, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the U.S. declared: “We will defend ourselves and reserve the right to respond to India’s aggression.”
This comes as an Al Jazeera correspondent reported an exchange of fire between Indian and Pakistani forces.Yesterday,the Pakistani Army announced it had shot down 29 Israeli drones attempting to target military and civilian sites across various cities in the country. According to officials, one drone crashed in Lahore, killing a civilian and injuring four soldiers.
Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah tarar added: “After failing in Tuesday’s attack—and with its fighter jets unable to breach our airspace—India resorted to deploying Israeli drones.”
A security source in Punjab Province (eastern Pakistan) confirmed that four Indian spy planes were downed early Friday morning.
