Earlier reports indicated that ⁣the 17th sanctions ⁤package ⁢ targets around 60 Russian individuals and⁤ entities, their partners, as well as between 50 to 150 oil tankers transporting Moscow’s crude.

The EU’s 16th sanctions package against Moscow took effect on 24⁣ February 2025.
