Sader calls for Arab leaders unity against normalizing relations with Israel
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Muqtada al-Sadr posted an image on his personal account on X (formerly twitter), stating: “I urge our brotherly guests in Baghdad to stand united and unwavering against normalization with the Zionist regime, nonetheless of circumstances.”
In another part of his remarks, he also called for Arab leaders to unite in support of their “brothers” in gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, and Libya.
Al-Sadr further tweeted: “Support a democratic Syria free from sectarianism and oppression.”
He additionally urged participants at the Arab League to back Iraq in what he described as its “reforms and pursuit of independence.”
The Sadrist leader concluded by praying for divine intervention to “remove the evils of Zionist occupation, normalization with this regime, and the meddling of aggressive American hegemony from Arab nations.”
