Israeli General Says Yemeni Forces Cannot Be Defeated Within 2,000 km
webangah News Agency reports that General Tzviya Haimovich, former commander of Israel’s air defense forces, stated: “We will not defeat the Houthis just as we cannot defeat hamas.”
He added: ”Can we defeat a group located 2,000 kilometers away? The Saudis failed over seven years and achieved nothing.”
The former Israeli air defense commander noted: “The Houthis’ ballistic missile arsenal has significantly expanded. Yemen now has a missile industry. They’ve learned to manufacture missiles, and those fired at us are made in Yemen.”
Military strategist Hatim Karim al-Falahi had previously highlighted the intelligence failures of the U.S.and israel against Yemeni forces.
The expert referenced American attacks from March 15 to May 6 that failed to prevent Yemeni strikes on occupied territories.
He cited repeated Israeli strikes on identical targets as evidence of intelligence weaknesses and Yemen’s challenging terrain, calling Zionist claims of blockading Yemen logistically impractical due to distance.
