Tensions rise between Egypt and Saudi Arabia as warnings of strained relations emerge
former Arab League Secretary-General warns of rising tensions between egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Former Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa cautioned against the spread of misleading analyses about regional affairs on social media, according to a report by webangah News Agency.
In a social media post, Moussa stated: “The Arab world is facing extremely arduous circumstances, and we must remain vigilant against attempts to sow discord among Arab nations.”
He emphasized that relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt now fall within this sphere of threats.
The warnings follow strong reactions from Egyptian activists regarding former U.S. President Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia and the normalization process between Riyadh and Tel aviv, alongside perceived neglect of the Palestinian issue.
