Lufthansa planes will not land in occupied territories
According to a report by webangah News Agency, citing Israel’s Channel 12, Lufthansa has again canceled its flights to the occupied territories. The suspension will remain in effect for the next eight months.
Earlier, Reuters reported that Swiss International Air Lines extended its flight suspensions to the occupied territories until May 18. The Hebrew newspaper Israel Hayom also confirmed Lufthansa’s extension of flight cancellations until May 18.
Israel’s Channel 12 further stated that air India has prolonged its flight suspensions to Tel Aviv until May 25.
The Swiss airline’s suspension comes as Hebrew media acknowledge that approximately 27 airlines have canceled flights to Tel Aviv following Yemen’s recent missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport.
