Russian President Awards Foreign Minister with Country’s Highest State Honor
Russian President Vladimir Putin has awarded Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov with the Order of St. Andrew, the country’s highest state decoration, according to a report by webangah News Agency citing RT.
The order of St. Andrew is Russia’s most prestigious state honor, originally established in 1698 during the Tsardom of Russia and later continued under the Russian Empire.
