Assassination attempt on Putin foiled

Russia’s air defense forces neutralized a Ukrainian drone attack aimed at a helicopter​ carrying President Vladimir⁣ Putin ⁣during ‌his visit to Kursk,according to a statement by the​ Russian air defense command reported by webangah News Agency.

Yuri Dashkin, commander of‌ a regional air defense‌ unit, told Russia 24 that “the president’s helicopter was effectively at the center of operations to repel this massive​ enemy drone assault.”

Separately, the governor of russia’s Bryansk region reported one person killed and another wounded in a Ukrainian drone⁤ strike on a vehicle⁢ in the area.
