The experts from Imam Khamenei’s Office for Sighting the New Moon announced the sighting of the new moon at sunset on Tuesday, May 27, for the month of Dhul-Hijja in Iran. Thus, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, is the first day of the month of Dhul-Hijja, 1446 AH.
