The webangah News agency, citing mehr News Agency, reported that the Al-Qassam Brigades-the military wing of Hamas-announced its fighters targeted an israeli military D9 bulldozer with a 105mm Yasin rocket near the Yarmouk site in Al-Manara neighborhood, south of Khan Younis.
Simultaneously occurring, Hebrew-language sources released footage showing the landing of a helicopter transporting wounded Israeli soldiers following a resistance ambush operation east of Khan Younis. The injured were transferred to Soroka Hospital in territories occupied since 1948.
Palestinian sources confirmed intense ongoing clashes between resistance fighters and Israeli forces in Khan Younis.
Local sources stated several Israeli soldiers were wounded, with rescue and evacuation operations by helicopter currently underway.
