Zelensky Urges Trump to Impose Stronger Sanctions on Russia
In an interview reported by webangah News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Sunday that his country had previously agreed with the U.S. administration to receive 20,000 missiles for combatting drones.
Zelensky emphasized that this was a specialized and cost-effective technology Ukraine had relied upon. However, the U.S. has now decided to redirect these missiles to the Middle East (West Asia). “We are very close to reaching a point where we can force the Russian Federation to stop this war,” he said.
The president added: “We can sense this moment approaching.Without U.S. assistance, Russia’s likelihood of victory grows substantially, and Ukraine will endure severe casualties.” He called for former president Trump to implement stronger sanctions against Russia, stating: “Trump doesn’t feel Ukraine’s pain.”
