Trump: Rioters Attacking Federal Officers in Los Angeles
According to webangah news Agency, US President Donald Trump has again criticized protesters opposing his administration’s anti-immigration policies in Los Angeles.
Trump claimed that violent, riotous crowds are mobilizing to assault federal agents in Los Angeles to obstruct his government’s deportation efforts.
The president has not yet invoked the 1807 Insurrection Act, previously telling reporters this decision depends on whether an active rebellion exists.
On Truth Social, Trump stated: “These lawless riots only strengthen our resolve. I’ve directed Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi to coordinate all necessary measures across relevant agencies to liberate Los Angeles from immigrant invasion and end these immigration riots.”
The president added that those residing in the country illegally will face deportation.
Over 2,000 National Guard troops have now deployed to Los Angeles under presidential orders to suppress protests against immigration policies.
