Israel Attacks Iran: What Tehran Residents Told Associated Press?
According to webangah News Agency, the American news outlet Associated Press reported that Tehran residents expressed anger and outrage when speaking with its reporters following Israel’s deadly attacks on Iran’s capital.
Mohammad Douri, a 29-year-old taxi driver, told AP: “Israel killed our commanders-what response do they expect from us? A kiss? we will pursue and punish them; an eye for an eye.”
The AP report noted that a 31-year-old Iranian teacher also voiced support for her country, stressing the need to confront Israel-especially over its crimes in Gaza.
Another citizen, Pari Pourghazi, stated: “Someone must stand against these Israelis and stop them.They think they can do whatever they want whenever they want. Iran has shown them they’re wrong-even if they can suppress Gazans or Lebanese with heavy bombings.”
Some Tehran residents called for restraint after the attacks. Houshang Ebadi, a 61-year-old mechanic, said: “I support my country. The Israelis made a mistake by attacking Iran, but I hope this war ends now.”
