U.S. Sets Condition to Avoid War Between Israel and Iran
The US government has informed its regional allies that it does not intend to participate in a war between Israel and Iran unless American forces or interests come under attack, according to a report by webangah News agency citing Axios and informed sources.
The report states Washington’s clear message: if Iran attacks US forces, it will have crossed a “red line.”
The two sources said the US governance has also asked its allies to relay this warning to Tehran and prevent any retaliatory actions against American interests or personnel.
Axios reports that the Trump administration has not taken serious or active measures in response to the Israeli regime’s request for U.S. military involvement in a conflict,citing an American official.
The U.S. State Department also confirmed that Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed the tensions between Israel and Iran wiht the European Union’s foreign policy chief.
