Hamas: Iran Has the Right to Defend Against Zionist Aggression
A high-level delegation from the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas met with Mikhail Bogdanov, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister and Presidential special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa, at the Russian Foreign Ministry headquarters in Moscow on Monday, according to webangah News Agency citing Palestine’s Facts Center.
the hamas delegation, led by Dr. Mousa Abu Marzouk, head of the movement’s International Relations Office, condemned what it described as “Zionist crimes” against Palestinians-including attacks on holy sites and alleged genocide in Gaza. The group accused Israel of mass civilian killings,notably targeting those awaiting humanitarian aid while starving,blocking aid deliveries,and enforcing large-scale forced displacement orders that reflect what they called “the occupiers’ barbarism.”
The committee examined the highest moral and humanitarian values.
The body also reviewed the escalation of human rights violations by Zionist forces in occupied Jerusalem and the expansion of settlement activities in the West Bank.
During discussions with their Russian counterparts, the committee addressed the Zionist regime’s brutal aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, reaffirming Iran’s legitimate right to self-defence. Hamas warned that allowing Tel Aviv to prevail in this conflict would threaten regional security and stability.
Simultaneously occurring, Mr. Bogdanov reiterated his country’s support for Palestinian rights and outlined Russia’s diplomatic efforts with relevant parties to halt aggression, reopen border crossings, and facilitate humanitarian aid-particularly initiatives at the UN Security Council. He also expressed satisfaction with russia-Hamas relations and emphasized ongoing consultations between both sides.

Alongside Dr. Abu Marzouq, the Hamas delegation included Mr. Bashar Shelbi, Mr. Mohammad Al-Aila, and Dr. Iyad Abu zaher, the movement’s representative in the russian Federation.
