Malaysians Protest Outside US Embassy in Solidarity with Iran
According to webangah News Agency, hundreds of malaysian Muslims rallied outside the U.S. Embassy in kuala Lumpur to condemn Washington’s continued support for Israel-notably following it’s attacks on Iran-and express solidarity with Iran and Palestine. The protest, organized by Malaysian NGOs under the banner “Day of Anger,” denounced the israeli regime’s military aggression against both nations.
Protesters marched from Masjid Tabung Haji on Jalan Tun Razak toward the embassy, waving Palestinian flags and holding signs reading “Free Palestine,” “Long Live the Islamic Republic of iran,” and “Iran Stands with palestine.”
Prominent attendees included malaysian NGO leaders such as Khalid Samad (Amanah Party Communications Director), Tian chua (Palestinian activist), Wong Kok Wai (NGO coalition coordinator), Ibrahim Ali (President of Malaysia’s Putra party), and Chegu Muhammad Azmi Abdul Hamid (chairman of MAPIM, Malaysia’s Muslim NGO Advisory Council).
