Human Rights Watch: Europe Complicit in Ongoing Gaza Genocide

The webangah News Agency ‍ reports that the euro-mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has⁢ issued a stark warning,accusing the European union of ongoing complicity with Israel in what it describes as genocide ⁤in ​Gaza.

The human rights organization​ stated that Britain and EU member states have avoided taking any effective action to halt Israel’s violations for over 20 months.

According to the report, European​ governments have provided cover for Israel’s violations through⁤ their actions and failures to act.

The monitor revealed that three European investigations have found strong evidence of Israel breaching human rights clauses.

The report noted that the EU has ⁤failed to implement any ‍punitive measures outlined in its partnership agreement with Israel despite these findings.

the organization warned that maintaining this agreement amid Tel Aviv’s alleged crimes constitutes a violation of European law and amounts to financial and political support for Israel.

It further stated that Europe’s ​approach ⁣violates the Genocide Convention, Geneva Conventions, Rome Statute, and Arms Trade‍ Treaty.
