According to webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump rejected a CNN report claiming Washington plans to allocate $30 billion to Iran for civilian nuclear facilities in a post on his Truth Social platform.
trump wrote: “Who at the Fake News Media is saying ‘President Trump wants to give Iran $30 billion to build civilian nuclear facilities.’?”
He added: “I’ve never even heard of this ridiculous idea. Just another hoax put out by the Fake News Media in order to demean. These people are sick.”
The statement comes after CNN reported on alleged efforts by the Trump administration to persuade Iran back into negotiations, citing four informed sources who claimed discussions included potential assistance worth approximately $30 billion for a civilian nuclear program, sanctions relief, and unfreezing billions in Iranian assets.
