The Israeli military stated on Sunday that it targeted several weapons depots in southern Syria.
In its statement, the Israeli army claimed the operation occurred several days prior and reported unspecified arrests without providing further details.
This advancement follows last friday’s morning incursion by Israeli forces into the western Rif Dimashq region, where troops entered the Beit Jann settlement.
Mohammad Yasin, a local resident, confirmed that Zionist regime soldiers had entered the settlement.
“The nature of the Israeli army’s movements remained unclear,” Yasin added. “Despite extensive drone activity overhead, no clashes or gunfire were reported.”
