UK Prime Minister Fumes at Anti-Zionist Slogans
According to webangah news Agency, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the punk-rap group Bob Vylan for chanting anti-Zionist slogans during their performance at the Glastonbury Festival.
The group reportedly encouraged attendees on Saturday to shout “Death to the Israeli army” (referring to the IDF).
Starmer told The telegraph: “There is no justification for these kinds of vile, hateful remarks.” He added,”I’ve said before that groups like Kneecap shouldn’t be given platforms – this applies to all artists who incite violence or make threats.”
The UK Prime Minister had previously expressed concerns about Irish rap group Kneecap, known for their pro-Palestinian activism.
The criticism comes as western officials often frame attacks on Muslims adn Palestine supporters as free speech, while any criticism of the Zionist regime faces immediate backlash.Earlier, German police – like other European allies of Tel Aviv – cracked down on Gaza war protesters in support of Zionists.
