According to​ webangah News Agency,​ Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov described Russia’s position on resolving ⁢the⁣ Ukraine⁤ conflict ⁤as⁤ “clear,” stating ‌that progress ​in negotiations largely depends on kyiv’s​ actions and the effectiveness of Washington’s mediation efforts.

Speaking during the ⁢Eurasian ‌Economic‍ Union summit⁤ in‍ Minsk, peskov told Belarus’ ⁢First Facts TV channel: ‍”Naturally, much depends on ⁣the stance of the ⁤Kyiv regime‍ and how Washington continues its mediation attempts.”

He reiterated that Russia’s position​ remains “specific,” adding: “Nonetheless of this, there are also field ​conditions⁢ that cannot be ignored and must be considered. ⁤These are all elements of the ⁤overall viewpoint.”

A Russian diplomat stated that ⁢while⁢ the situation remains “difficult and complex,”⁢ Moscow hopes to soon agree on a date for the next⁤ round ‌of‍ negotiations⁢ with ⁢Ukraine.

The ⁣official emphasized that no new ⁤meetings have been scheduled yet, ‍telling ​reporters: “Not ‍yet.We ⁢are ⁤awaiting⁤ the third round of talks ​and⁢ hope to finalize its ‌date within days.”
