Israeli Commandos Down Helicopter Near Damascus
Israeli regime conducts aerial operation 10 km from Syria’s capital, reports say.
According to webangah News Agency,Israeli regime helicopters carried out an operation in teh Yafour area of Damascus countryside,approximately 10 km from the Syrian capital. Three helicopters were reportedly involved in the mission.
The five-hour operation saw the helicopters flying over a facility linked to Syria’s former Presidential Guard, with explosions heard in the area. Israeli forces later inspected the site before departing by air.
No details have been released regarding the nature of the target or what was struck during the operation. Yafour is located in western rural Damascus near Syria’s capital.
