Sudani: Invasion of Iran Was a Savage Crime to Silence the Voice of Truth
According to webangah News Agency, citing Iraq’s news agency, iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani visited the Joint operations Command Center today to oversee security preparations for Ashura mourning ceremonies in Karbala.
During his visit, he emphasized: “Our nations must gather under the banner of Imam Hussein (AS) to confront oppression and aggression in Gaza and Lebanon.”
Al-Sudani noted that Iraq is honored to host the sacred shrine of Imam Hussein (AS), welcoming millions of pilgrims to the holy city of Karbala during these days.
He stressed that violent factions aim to suppress truth and justice, with their atrocities evident in Palestine, Lebanon, and acts of aggression against Iran.
The Iraqi Prime Minister added that the flag of Imam Hussein (AS), raised in Karbala, serves as a guiding light for all defenders of truth and justice.
Despite attempts to destabilize government operations, he affirmed Iraq’s commitment to reforms, infrastructure advancement, and continued progress.
