Egypt, Saudi Foreign Ministers Hold Phone Talks
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan emphasized the depth of their countries’ strong bilateral,fraternal,and historic ties during a phone conversation. They highlighted notable progress in relations under the directives of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin salman.
The two ministers exchanged views on bilateral relations expansion and shared commitment to developing political-diplomatic solutions for regional and global crises.
They reviewed recent regional developments, particularly the Palestinian issue and catastrophic situation in Gaza Strip, while discussing current efforts to reinstate a ceasefire in the territory.
Abdelatty noted Egypt’s extensive communications with all parties to achieve a ceasefire and ensure humanitarian aid reaches Gaza.
The diplomats consulted about an upcoming Gaza reconstruction conference planned post-ceasefire through cooperation with the UN and Palestinian government in egypt.
The discussion addressed ongoing diplomatic contacts aimed at solidifying an Iran-Israel ceasefire agreement alongside renewed nuclear program negotiations that could reduce tensions.
the ministers also exchanged assessments on Sudan’s developments before reaffirming continued coordination between both nations to support shared interests, regional security/stability, implementation of leadership directives.
