Netanyahu’s Unreasonable Demand to Sabotage Prisoner Exchange with Hamas
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Qatar’s Al Jazeera network via Mehr News Agency, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the Israeli regime currently in the United States, reiterated his usual stance in an interview with American network Newsmax. Without mentioning decades of Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and occupation of their homeland, he once again blamed Hamas for prolonging the war and claimed: “The war can end today or tomorrow if Hamas lays down its weapons.”
He asserted that both sides are very close to reaching an agreement on a 60-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli prime minister further claimed this deal would include releasing half of the living prisoners and half of those killed whose bodies are held. According to him, around 10 live prisoners and 12 bodies would remain in Hamas’s possession.
Repeating his outdated rhetoric to justify Israel’s aggressive attack on Iran during ongoing talks with America, Netanyahu alleged: “Iran was trying to acquire nuclear weapons-and we stopped them.”
In an apparent attempt to gain favor with Donald Trump, he added: “Israel has never had a supporter in America like President Trump.”
Hamas: The voice of resistance in Khan Yunis is louder than any political propaganda
Bassem Naeem, a leader within Hamas referencing recent developments in southern Gaza Strip said: “The images released from Khan Yunis carry a clear message; no voice is louder than that of resistance and battlefield realities.”
He criticized political efforts by israel and America aimed at imposing new facts on Gaza and emphasized: ”The media circus by Netanyahu and his American backer trying to advance their plans through misleading negotiations has been trampled underfoot by Palestinian fighters.”
These comments come as Palestinian resistance continues fighting occupying forces across various areas in Gaza-especially Khan yunis.
