Joulani Meets Ilham Aliyev in Baku
The head of the ruling regime in Syria met and held talks with the President of Azerbaijan during a visit to the country.
The English section of webangah News Agency reported, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Ikhbariya, that Abu Muhammad al-Joulani, leader of the ruling regime in Syria, traveled to Azerbaijan and met with President ilham Aliyev.
According to a statement from the Syrian presidency, the meeting took place at Zagulba Palace in Baku with senior officials from both countries present.
Syrian news agency SANA announced on Saturday morning that Abu Muhammad al-Joulani arrived in baku,Azerbaijan’s capital. He was welcomed by first Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, and other Azerbaijani officials.
