Armed Clashes in Syria Leave Over 50 Dead and Injured
According to teh English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al mayadeen via Mehr News Agency, local sources in Syria have confirmed that fighting between armed forces and Druze military groups in Suwayda has left at least 13 dead.
These sources added that the scope of the clashes has expanded across Suwayda and its outskirts, leaving more than 40 wounded.
They emphasized that tensions remain high around the al-Maqous neighborhood, with the suwayda-Qanawat and Suwayda-Atil roads closed.
The reports also mention an attack by armed elements on the village of al-Sura, located at one of the entrances to Suwayda province, from three different directions.
The governor of Suwayda has urged all residents to exercise restraint and refrain from taking up arms.
