Beijing Accuses Japan of Disrupting South China Sea
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu Agency via Mehr News Agency, China on Monday accused Japan of causing disruption in the South China Sea by providing vessels to the Philippine Navy.
jiang Bin, spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Defense, stated that in recent years, Japan has consistently exported weapons and equipment aimed at forming small groups meant to disrupt activities in the South China Sea and create instability across Asia and Oceania.
He added that China has repeatedly emphasized that defense and security cooperation among relevant countries should not target or harm third-party interests.
The Chinese defense official made these remarks concerning Japan’s plan to export six used Abukuma-class destroyers to the Philippines.
