Druze Spiritual Leader Reports Attackers Violating Ceasefire in Suwayda
The spiritual leader of Syria’s Druze community announced that the ceasefire has been violated by attacking groups in Sweida.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and al-Mayadeen network,Sheikh Hikmat al-Hajri,the spiritual leader of Syria’s Druze community,called on the guarantors of the ceasefire in southern Syria’s Sweida province to take duty.
he urged these countries to fulfill their obligations toward stopping hostilities in Sweida.
Expressing regret over the ceasefire violations,al-Hajri emphasized that ongoing attacks by militant groups and the commission of shameful crimes demonstrate that one side is not honoring the terms of the agreement.
