Oman’s Mufti Urges Islamic and Arab Countries to Take Immediate Action on Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sawt al-Quds, Sheikh Ahmad al-Khalili, Grand Mufti of Oman, stated: “We follow wiht sorrow and grief the hardships facing dear Gaza, which is under severe blockade and blatant oppression.”
He added: “We call on Islamic and Arab countries to act instantly in support of our brothers in the Gaza Strip. This is a duty incumbent upon all humanity.”
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reports that since October 7, 2023, Israeli military attacks on Gaza have killed 58,859 peopel. The total number injured has reached 140,980. In the past 24 hours alone, 130 bodies where delivered to hospitals alongside 495 new injuries.
Additionally, from March 18, 2025 onward during a new wave of attacks on Gaza, there have been 8,066 deaths and 28,939 injuries. Thousands remain missing under rubble across the Strip.
Aid distribution centers have also been targeted; within the last day, at least 31 people were killed and over 107 injured at these locations. The cumulative death toll among Palestinians in aid centers now stands at 922 with 5,861 injured.
