Yemeni Mufti: US Oppression Will Not Stop Until the Wall of Fear Is Broken
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing al-Masirah, Sheikh Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, the Grand Mufti of Yemen, spoke about the ongoing atrocities by the occupying regime in Gaza and stressed the obligation of scholars of the Islamic nation. He said, “those scholars who remain silent about what is happening in Gaza have betrayed God and His Messenger.”
Highlighting the historical and moral role of religious elites within Islam, he added, “Muslim scholars bear the responsibility to encourage jihad and assist the suffering people of Gaza. Until they fulfill their duty, break down walls of fear, and adhere firmly to their responsibilities, Jewish and American oppression will not cease.”
The Grand Mufti also praised Yemen’s people for supporting Gaza. He stated: “The Yemeni nation has fulfilled its duty towards Gaza’s people by joining Operation Al-Aqsa Storm in an exemplary manner. We tell those in Gaza that you are a symbol of this nation’s resistance and victory.”
He concluded with a call for steadfastness among Yemenis while urging them to increase pressure through resistance operations against the Zionist regime until injustice against Gaza’s population ends.
