Hamas: US Accusations Are Shocking and Baseless
One of Hamas’s leaders responded to the U.S.president’s accusations against the movement.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr news Agency and Ma’an, Taher Al-Nunu, a Hamas leader, told the Qatari channel Al-Arabi that Hamas has shown flexibility as the recent round of ceasefire talks with Tel Aviv began.
He added, “We are ready to promptly resume negotiations. The U.S. accusations are shocking and baseless.”
Yesterday, U.S. President Donald Trump issued hostile remarks toward Palestine,claiming that Hamas dose not want to sign an agreement and must be eliminated.
This comes while Hamas has consistently expressed its readiness to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, but Israel has halted progress under various pretexts.
Trump stated: “We have withdrawn from Gaza negotiations.”
