Putin’s Deputy: We Will Respond Swiftly and Forcefully to Any Attack on Kaliningrad
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Rosia Al-Youm via Mehr News Agency, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Patrushev stated that Russia’s response to any military attack on Kaliningrad will be immediate and overwhelming.
He added that this response would utilize all available military forces and equipment,in line with Russia’s military doctrine and state policy on nuclear deterrence.
Patrushev emphasized that Russia possesses all necessary capabilities to guarantee the security of the Kaliningrad region.
He further remarked, “We have long been aware of Western plans targeting this region. Kaliningrad is an inseparable part of Russia.”
earlier, a NATO land forces commander had indicated that NATO is planning measures to suppress Russia’s defensive capabilities in Kaliningrad.
