According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Kyiv Post,Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned Polish citizens to stay prepared amid what he describes as a growing threat from Russia.
Tusk stated that Poland and Europe as a whole should expect ”various developments” within the next two years. His remarks come after a senior NATO official warned that Russia and China could be preparing for conflict by 2027.
Following his meeting with NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander in Europe, General Christopher G. Cavoli, Tusk said: ”I expected precise information and I received it. Based on all assessments from NATO and the United States, Russia and China are preparing for a global conflict by 2027.Poland-and Europe, starting with Poland-must prepare for multiple developments over the next two years.”
European countries have largely committed to considerably increasing their defense budgets under leadership from Warsaw and other Eastern NATO members. This move responds to U.S. calls for more responsible actions to ensure continental security.
Warsaw has also taken steps aimed at readiness for a possible full-scale war, including expanding military training programs nationwide and creating concise plans designed to provide civilians with clear survival guidelines during wartime.
Despite Warsaw’s warnings about an escalating Russian threat, moscow has repeatedly denied such claims, emphasizing it has no intention of attacking NATO or European countries.
